CONNER
Hi my name is Conner. I’m currently in the 10th grade and I have been dancing for 6 years now. This will be my 4th year with the Senior Dance Company at Taneytown Dance Center. The styles of dance that I take are Pointe, Ballet, Modern, Broadway Jazz and Hip Hop. On a personal note, I love being with my friends and family, and my favorite food is steak. When I grow up my dream job is to be a physical therapist, but for now dance is my life. All of the Company members are like my sisters. Remember, “Live to Dance.”

JORDAN
Hi my name is Jordan and I am currently a sophomore. I have been dancing with Ms. Kim for seven years and have been part of the Sr company for six years. I do all different genres of dance and my favorites are jazz, tap, pointe and modern! Outside of the studio I like to hang with friend and family, eat, shop and listen to music! I’m also going into my second year cheering. My motto is: “Live to Dance!" <3

CARA
Hi! My name is Cara and I am in the 8th grade. I love the color pink and I think family and friends are a first priority. My favorite type of dance is pointe/ballet, but I love all the genres. My Senior Company sisters are like family as well as my junior sister Lindsey. WE have so many great times together. Mrs. Kim, Miss Liss and Mrs Theresa are amazing teachers that teach us lessons for inside and outside of dance. Live to Dance!

KAYLA
Hi my names is Kayla and I am currently a sophomore. I have been dancing with Ms Kim for six years now. This will be my 4th year dancing in the Sr company and I ‘ve enjoyed every minute of it. I do all different styles of dance, but my favorites would be ballet, pointe and modern. I also was accepted for my first year on the cheer squad at my high school. Outside the studio, I enjoy hanging with my loved ones, eating everything in sight, and overall enjoying the life God gave me. Live, Love Dance <3

ALYSSA
Hi! I’m Alyssa. I love being part of the Senior company and I’m happy to be returning after taking a year off of dance. My favorite type of dance is tap and this will be my fifth year dancing. I will be a freshman in high school this Fall. In my free time, I like to go outside, read and hang out w/my friends. I also was just chosen to be a part of my high school volleyball team. The girls I dance with and Miss Kim have become my family and I love dancing with them. I always learn something new from Miss Kim…and I always LIVE TO DANCE!

ALLIE
I’m Allie. I started dancing in 2nd grade and my favorite type of dance is hip/hop. I’m 13 yrs old and I’m not in the 8th grade. My favorite subject in school is Math. My favorite food is pizza. When I’m not at the dance studio, I am at home working on my dance pieces so I can get all the moves down correctly. I like to set goals for myself in dance so when I achieve them I feel good about myself. My goad this year is to work on tap and to work on jumps and turns in ballet. The reason why I started taking dance and I’ve stuck with it is because I really like learning new dances. Dance is interesting because you can find a mood in each piece. When I get older, I’d like to become a choreographer. Dance takes a lot of work and perseverance. I like to dance because it encourages me to keep trying and to work hard at all times. “LIVE TO DANCE.”

OLIVIA
Hi! My name is Olivia and I’m 13 yrs old. This will be my first year with Sr. company and I’m really excited. I have been dancing with Miss Kim for almost 5 yrs. My favorite style of dance would be tap although, I also enjoy jazz and modern. When I’m not dancing I’m usually horse back riding. When I grow up I would like to be a vet for large animals. My favorite food is fried chicken. The best part of dance would be that I can hang out with my friends and express myself through all different types of dance styles.
