Our resident Dance Company , Xpressions in Motion, provides pre-professional training and opportunities to students through:

Junior Company - Junior Xpressions
Ages: 9+ years

Young Company - Young Xpressions (our latest addition to the family!)
Ages: 7+ years

Company members are required to take a once a week Ballet Tech class with the Directrice and participate in weekly Company rehearsals and all performances.  Members must maintain appropriate grade averages in school and must always demonstrate an attitude and behavior consistent with the values of the Taneytown Dance Center.

Company members perform at a variety of area and regional venues.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Senior Company must be a member of the Junior Company first, however, being a member of Jr. does not guarantee a place in Senior Company.

In order to be considered for Company, a student must be personally selected for an open position by the Directrice and the Company Director.  Students must have demonstrated a specific amount of ballet experience with the Directrice, must be the minimum age, and must possess the necessary years of dance training.  If you would like additional information on Company, please contact Company Director or the Studio Directrice.
